Bridge Rehabilitation and Replacement

SAI was responsible for the in-depth inspection, complete preliminary and final design, and services during construction for the rehabilitation of the existing steel deck-truss bridge over the Monongahela River and various roadways/railroads.

Physical Features: 
  • 2,111' 10-span steel deck-truss and continuous steel girder bridge over the Monongahela River, S.R. 0906 and S.R. 8025, CSX Mainline, T.R. 0541, and the Norfolk & Southern Railroad.
  • 200' of four lane urban principal arterial roadway approach at each end of the bridge.
