The Mon Wharf Switchback Ramp Ribbon Cutting – Cold Day, but Warm Thoughts!

The Mon Wharf Switchback Ramp is “officially” open as of the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. today! SAI is a proud partner in the design of this long-awaited bike/pedestrian connector. The Mon Wharf Switchback Ramp is a Riverlife project that connects trail users using the Smithfield Street Bridge, Eliza Furnace “Jail Trail” and Great Allegheny Passage safely and smoothly down to the eastern end of the Mon Wharf Landing, a linear park along the Monongahela River in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
