SAI announces that the Mon Wharf Pedestrian Switchback Bridge received the March of Dimes Project of the Year award, which was presented at a virtual luncheon on October 5, 2020. The March of Dimes Award marks the fourth award that the Mon Wharf Pedestrian Switchback Bridge has received. The switchback bridge connects the bike trail from the City of Pittsburgh to the Mon Wharf. In addition to the March of Dimes Project of the Year Award, the Mon Wharf Pedestrian Switchback Bridge is the recipient of the ABCD Outstanding New Special Purpose Bridge, the ASHE Outstanding Highway Awards, and the TQI Community Connection & Enhancement Award.
