SAI employees get on their bike and pedal to work in observation of National Bike to Work Day. Julie Hoffmann, EIT, bikes to work most days and is familiar with the bike trails of Pittsburgh, including the Mon Wharf Pedestrian Switchback bridge, which SAI designed. The Mon Wharf Pedestrian Bridge (winner of several awards including the ABCD outstanding new special-purpose structure) is the missing link that allows direct pedestrian/bicyle access from Point State Park to the Southside Trails.
