SAI joins the City of Pittsburgh’s Juneteenth Freedom Day & celebrates at Point State Park. DeMara Winstead’s booth sold handmade art, apparel and accessories to the public (bottom left), while crowds listened to upbeat music. The rain didn’t stop the celebrating. Juneteenth marks the date when chattel slavery ended and the Thirteenth Amendment began.
