Engineering America’s 1^st Moon Mission – SAI honors the earthbound engineers with their “mounds of crumbled paper and smoldering metal shards of exploded engines” that engineered Apollo 11. July 16-24, 2021, marks the 52^nd anniversary of Apollo 11’s moon mission.  And although America remembers Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin as the first Americans on the moon – it took a village of engineers to made it possible.
