SAI Wins Bridge Replacement Agreement in District 10-0

November 10, 2021, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. was awarded an open end agreement in PennDOT District 10-0. The Paint Creek Bridge Replacement is the full replacement of the existing structure carrying US Route 322 over Paint Creek in Elk Township, Clarion County. We will be required to perform all tasks and activities necessary to complete preliminary engineering, final design, and construction consultation for the project.

Preliminary engineering tasks and activities may include but not limited to: field surveys, alternative alignment development, utility coordination, design criteria report, line and grade submission, TS&L, H&H report, preliminary traffic control plan, 90% right of way plan, public involvement, design field view, constructability reviews, E&S Plan, preliminary drainage and stormwater design,  environmental clearance, phase 1 ESA, SEPS and subsurface explorations, and other preliminary engineering tasks as required.

Final design tasks and activities may include but not limited to: field surveys, final TS&L, structure foundation report, roadway plans, utility coordination, final right of way plan, final structure plan and supporting calculations, construction CPM development, constructability reviews, preparation of PS&E package, NPDES permit, Subsurface Utility Investigations, and other final design tasks as required. The anticipated duration of the agreement is 5 years.
