The I-579 Urban Open Space Cap Project won the ESWP Sustainability Project of the Year for 2021. The project used innovative materials while creating a positive impact on the surrounding environment. From story walls, to seat drums, to an aluminum trellis, to standalone sign lights that hold park guides, this space is art in life form.
It was an honor to be a part of this project and assist the SEA with their long term development goals to reconnect the Hill District.
