Meet Richard Yakupkovic, PE, who joins our Pittsburgh office as a senior project manager.
Rich is no stranger to SAI as he worked for Jim Lombardi for a few short months in construction in 1985. He has also worked with many of us over his last 37 years at PennDOT District 11-0. His last position held upon retirement was portfolio manager where he supervised both structure and highway squads.
Rich is from Hopewell Township in Beaver County and currently lives in Canonsburg. He has a wife and two sons in college for engineering at Penn State Behrend and Purdue. His wife is also a structure engineer at JMT, so it’s a whole house full of engineers!
In his spare time, Rich enjoys woodworking and remodeling work.
He and his wife are also huge Disney buffs and like to get there as much as they can.
On joining SAI, Rich says, “I’m looking forward to working with people I’ve worked with in the past as well as all the new faces.” He is part of the project management team and his supervisor is Bill Ferko. Rich will also be working for the City (like Bob Michalko) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to start
Let’s all give Rich a warm SAI welcome!
