Meet Shelby, who joins our Harrisburg office as a highway engineer.
She graduated from Penn State Main Campus. Shelby had an internship with the Turnpike as a highway design intern, and worked two summers with the PennDOT Testing Center where she provided Bituminous Asphalt Testing. She also did an internship with Gannett Fleming. Shelby was part of an organization called Concrete Canoe, which part of ASCE and was involved with the Presbyterian Student Fellowship (PSF) where she sang in the choir and played hand bells. Shelby also worked in the dining hall as a student assistant director which she managed the student dining hall staff.
Shelby was born in Middletown, Pennsylvania and currently lives in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
She enjoys reading murder mysteries and doing sudoku puzzles. She also enjoys kayaking, hiking and camping.
On starting at SAI, Shelby said, “I’m really excited to start working. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming.”
