As we celebrate Women in Construction Week, SAI is proud to have many women in construction whose knowledge and strength play a vital role in shaping the future. One such woman is SAI’s own Michelle Hinds, PE.
As a Project Manager for Construction Services, Michelle is well-respected in the construction industry. Many of the professional and community organizations that Michelle belongs to see her as a mentor and role model. So much so that in 2020, Michelle was the recipient of the Young Engineer of the Year Award from the Pittsburgh Chapter of PSPE and NSPE-PA showing other burgeoning women engineers what is possible. Then in 2023, Michelle won the Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award from WTS Pittsburgh.
