Mid-Level Traffic Engineer
We are looking for a team member in our Transportation Design
Group with the desire to lead traffic analysis and design efforts on projects within our Highway
Department.
Responsibilities
- Design or provide oversight of traffic-affiliated improvements for highway-related projects
- Develop or provide oversight for traffic control, traffic signal, and signing/pavement
marking plans - Perform or provide oversight for traffic analysis and modelling on transportation
improvement projects. - Complete or provide oversight for designated task assignments and technical reports
that summarize recommendations - Review and seal traffic-related submittals
- Mentor junior engineers
- Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and our clients
- Attend professional organization meetings to build relationships and assist with business
development

Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of direct experience in traffic design aspects of transportation projects
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university is required, with emphasis or
prior work experience in traffic design - Strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- PE license in PA required; PTOE or willingness to obtain PTOE certification a plus.
- CADD experience a plus; MicroStation, InRoads or OpenRoads preferred
- Ability to perform project site visits
- PennDOT/PA Turnpike experience preferred
