SR 0068-350, East Brady Bridge Replacement – Construction Inspection

SAI was responsible for the construction inspection of a new multi-span continuous steel plate-girder bridge that was built along side the old bridge so that traffic could be maintained during construction. The new bridge was successfully opened to traffic in April 2007 with demolition of the old bridge taking place in June of 2007.

  • 1,039′ four-span continuous steel plate girder bridge over the Allegheny River.

  • Two pile foundation abutments.
  • One pile foundation land pier.
  • two cofferdam and tremmie seal river piers.
