This design of this project was somewhat complex. Traffic control and other constructability issues on the project were very complex. SAI did extremely well in trying to optimize these items through the course of project development. Very few problems were encountered during construction.

SAI did an excellent job on the caisson design for two piers on the proposed structure. They evaluated various substructure types for the piers through a Pro Team process and evaluated each option from a constructability and cost standpoint. Their SFR submission was detailed, accurate, and required minimal revisions for a complicated design.
