Entry-Level Highway Engineer

SAI is looking for a team member in our Transportation Design Group with the desire to grow within our Highway Department.

Design roadway, drainage, and traffic improvements for highway-related projects
Perform engineering calculations, quantity calculations, cost estimates, and CADD design/drafting
Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and our clients to ensure all aspects of the design are consistent
Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for contract bidding
Become well-versed with PennDOT Design Manuals and Standards
Perform field views and participate in meetings
