Structure Technical Lead
SAI is looking for a dynamic leader with the desire to lead challenging structural work and mentor our structures staff
Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor junior engineers furthering our culture of growth company wide
- Serve as a structural design advisor to structural staff on projects of all types, sizes, and complexities
- Planning approach to “complex” structures
- Continually assess and develop design procedures for adequacy with codes, standards and quality assurance procedures
- Participate in company growth and business development by attending association meetings and other functions

Qualifications
- 15+ years of direct experience in the design of transportation projects
- MS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university is preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional Engineer License in PA or ability to obtain
- Proficient knowledge of AASHTO bridge design code, PennDOT bridge design software, and structural analysis programs such as STAAD, CSi Bridge, MIDAS, VBent required
- Has experience in steel, concrete, and prestressed concrete design
- PennDOT/PA Turnpike experience preferred
