What do you get when you combine perfect spring weather, a packed course, and five determined runners? A standout performance at the FedEx Pittsburgh Marathon.
On May 3, 2026, Tim O’Donnell, Drew Wissler, Trevor McGahey, Bryce Magee, and Nick Weimer (son of Jim Weimer) took on the 26.2-mile relay as Team SAI and delivered in a big way. Each leg brought its own challenge, but the team never let up,
pushing the pace from start to finish through the streets of Pittsburgh.
When it was all said and done, the team crossed the finish line with an impressive time of 3:12:47, good for a blazing 7:22 per mile average. Even more impressive, they secured 20th place out of a massive field of 708 relay teams, putting them firmly among
the event’s top performers.
Strong legs, smooth handoffs, and just the right amount of competitive edge. Team SAI showed what a well-coordinated group can accomplish on race day.
